Community Workshops

Defeat Poverty In Your Community

Our Omaha Bridges community workshops are specifically designed to provide individuals, agencies, and businesses the strategies they need to overcome poverty.

For Individuals

If you are an individual interested in defeating poverty in your community, we invite you to come to one of our quarterly three-hour community workshops, where you’ll learn more about Omaha Bridges and its theory of change.

Omaha Bridges is a community forum that provides a comprehensive approach to understanding the varying factors that contribute to and maintain poverty from a socioeconomic perspective. Using the lens of economic class, the workshop offers concrete tools and strategies that support the community in preventing, reducing, and alleviating poverty. Participants will learn strategies that center on relationship building, collaboration, and mutual respect.

We are available to present a dedicated workshop for your staff.  We can customize a workshop for your specific needs.  Workshops can range from thirty minutes to three and a half hours. A workshop can cover the history of Omaha Bridges, promote an upcoming class, or offer a sample of our curriculum. Workshops explain how the Bridges Out of Poverty framework can help the community through a professional and economic lens.

Workshops can be formal or informal and we can present from three people to three thousand.  We love to partner with agencies to defeat poverty and help bring stability to the community.

Please contact us and we can discuss details about a workshop that can fit your needs.
